This piece is inspired by one of my favorite literary characters ever, Miss Havisham from Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. It is not supposed to be her, you understand. This character is simply an homage to her. For most of my life I have felt a kinship to the original Miss Havisham for various reasons, and I wanted to depict a character stuck in the same sort of stasis, put there by some trauma or heartbreak. She is not old, or young... not alive or dead. She just simply is. Stock used to create this piece comes from *elisafox-stock for the figure, =Falln-Stock for the spiderwebs, and sxc for the background.
Great job. love the light coming through the windows. it's very pretty

Miss Havisham looks great and so does spider's web. I like how you created the room - it's inside the cathedral, isn't it ? Anyway, everything overthere is awesome, but what is she siting on ?
She does look alive, but in an eerie way. Almost like a vampiresse. There's something wicked in her expression. And the work on the windows is amazing.
Wow... It's fascinating, and very melancholy. I like the dark feel you give to it.

Looks quite sinister, definitely not someone I would like to run into in my attic or parlor room. Was the title of this piece also inspired by Miss Havisham? And any chance of a deviation of Estella?
