Holidays
I never really update this thing anymore. Mostly, I forget because I'm so ultra-busy with my writing these days and I know that people here were really primarily about my artwork, as opposed to anything else. When I do think to update about things I'm currently doing creatively, I tend to do it at my Blogger account set up for the purpose. I was never really sure how many people here even bother to read journals as it was.
Mostly I've just been enjoying the holiday season with my fiancé and using some of my free time to catch up on my blogging and social networking. I'm lucky enough to have a bit of a lull in my schedule as far as cli
Stuff I Get Asked All the Time
As anyone who even still checks this page already knows, I don't come out of the woodwork over here all that often these days. I have a lot going on anymore, both personally and professionally, so I just don't really have time. However, I've noticed I still kind of get a lot of the same questions... just... in comments or messages from time to time. I used to have an FAQ of sorts on here, but I have no clue where it is now. I doubt the questions or the answers are relevant anymore anyway, so... eh. I'm making a new one.

Yes, I still visit my account -- maybe every two or three days. I also read all
On Deviant Page Views and Other Lame Things
So, I just now realized that if I so choose, I can take deviant page views completely out of my personal equation here if I feel like it. (Wonder how long that option's been there!) That's honestly pretty cool, because I hate the page view wank that goes on here; I really do. Isn't this site supposed to be about art? How is watching a number not a gigantic waste of time, not to mention missing the point completely.
I don't care how many page views somebody else has and I really hated that people were either more or less apt to care what I had to say based on how many page views I have. Oh, under a million? Well, you're nobody. Oh... but over
Facebook, Anyone?
I actually meant to pop in here and mention this a lot sooner, but I thought I'd let everyone here know that I finally got around to creating a couple of "like" pages for people interested in following my artwork and writing on Facebook. I do have a personal account as well, but I really use that more for talking to friends and family or playing games, so I doubt it would be of too much interest to people from here that mostly just care about art or creative writing.
Both pages are relatively new, so there's not a whole lot to see yet, but I'm hoping they'll become fun places for people to follow me, as well as have a few interesting discuss

I only post low-res artwork to dA now - same for Facebook and other sites. And I make the title and my copyright part of the artwork, so it can't easily be lifted off. I've no problem with people sharing my art, but they should credit me as the artist and link back to the original work or to one of my sites. Really raises my hackles when I see artwork posted online without any credit to the artist.
